the BF and I moved recently and it's my favorite job in the world to figure out how to decorate. For years I've been chasing after great french industrial finds that are similar to
Restoration Hardware. I always described my interior design taste as a cross between the
French Industrial,
Laboratory/Apothecary Chic, and
British Colonial, which is true but I don't really like a lot of the
fans,
weaving, and
whatnot that British Colonial style embodies. In fact, today I just learned that I lean towards a totally different "British Colonial" look that's less
Tommy Bahama and more
Tommy Gun. It's similar, but different. It is called
British Campaign style. The furniture has a lot more folding and easy to pack away fixtures so it's easy to mobilize, in all definitions of the word. I had NO CLUE!
Anyway, here's my future dining room set. It's still mostly French Industrial... Can't stray too far.

It's a mix-and-match design. If I had tons of money I would rather get this table, but I'm not complaining!
