lay your cards on the table

as you know i've been trying to furnish my not so new apartment and have been finding great deals on several sites, especially etsy.com. There was this one furniture designers who i commissioned to do our coffee and dining room tables. They were to be a bit different in styles, but use the same kind of wood so they'd coordinate enough. Well, after extensive email conversations and patience, my bf and i received our totally awesome 100 lb. dining table... pictures to come...
however!!! never received the second table for our living room. i'm so fed up of emailing and calling this guy who resides half-way across this vast country. so now i'm getting etsy involved to see what they can do about it. he can't just steal my money! and all i wanted was this "almost finished"piece. ugh
sadly, I'm back on the hunt and may have to cough up more dough. DOH!
